it is the end of the year

Is the glass half empty or half full? The pessimist would pick half empty, while the optimist would choose half full. (Photo credit: Wikipedia)
a year of adventure, adversity, challenge, struggle, and yes…. blessing too.
i am always the pessimist, choosing to look at the dark, negative and frustrating, but this has been one hard year. It felt literally like we were scratching to make our keep, working on a treadmill, going no further, no advance, no decline… bills got paid, but by god’s grace…
and then the light began to dawn… business exploding, job for hubby… as we approach the end of a long and arduous year i am thankful to have hope for a new and bright 2013 filled with promise and hope. so pray with me… and lets all keep our eyes open for the blessings of the new year.
Keep your eyes and ears open for Good News. You will be pleasantly surprised to see that God’s grace and mercy is working and giving you hope out of the midst of your struggles! Struggles are opportunities to give thanks and glory to God as He demonstrates His power to give you victory!.

Thank you for your comments. This blog was a kind of electronic journal of my life during a time when my life, and that of my husband was turned on its ear. We both went from highly skilled and employed to loss of both jobs, financial emplosion and colkapse of a world we thought would never change. But we are both christian…we held on to hears, yielded it all back to him and allowed him to take us on a grand new chapter of life. I can tell you god is good…he has seen us through unimaginable darkness of the soul, and has begun new works in us. We are both working and looking to Jesus every moment for our strength and provision.
I hope to use this blog for a book…one day.
